Mission: The Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander is a public institution of higher education, oriented to the continuous improvement and quality in the processes of teaching, research and extension, within the framework of methodological strategies in presence, distance and virtual, whose fundamental purpose is the integral formation of professionals committed to the solution of problems of the environment, in search of the sustainable development of the region.
Vision: The Francisco de Paula Santander University will be recognized nationally for the high quality, competitiveness and relevance of its academic programs, the generation of knowledge, the transfer of science and technology, and the training of professionals with a sense of social responsibility, using methodological strategies that are face-to-face, distance and virtual, to facilitate the transformation of society from the local to the global level.
