Foundation: 2004
Mission: The Institute of Agricultural Sciences (ICA) was created in 2004 to provide the CSIC with a center of excellence in agro-environmental research, capable of addressing the challenges of modern and specialized Spanish agriculture. His lines of research try to respond to the growing social demand for safe and quality agricultural products, for proper management of urban and agricultural waste and for sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural systems.
