Mission: The Healthcare Management in Valladolid West is a public body, whose main purpose is to meet the healthcare needs of the population assigned to that area, presenting an integrated attention and a human and individualized treatment to the citizens. Through it, users are provided with medical-care and public health activities, both at individual and community level, being sensitive to their needs and demands. The development of a process of continuous improvement and permanent evaluation, together with the commitment and active participation of its professionals, aims to guarantee the provision of a decisive, efficient, safe and high quality service, while maintaining its university, teaching and research character.
Vision: The Valladolid West Healthcare Management aims to consolidate its position as a reference area, strengthening its prestige and leadership position, establishing areas of excellence in the field of healthcare, management, the citizens' model and quality of care. It aims to reinforce its university character and achieve an organization that generates knowledge through its research work, that is open to society, that uses resources efficiently and that is sustainable, responsible and respectful of the environment.

The following data gives a quick reading on the scientific performance in the last years. The research ranking refers to the volume, impact and quality of the institution's research output.
