Mission: The missions of the National Institute for Research in Rural Engineering, Water and Forests consist of: contributing to the development of the national research policy in the fields of Water, Forests and Rural Engineering. Organize and carry out all scientific research in relation to the aforementioned fields. Participate in the protection, conservation and rationalization of the exploitation of natural resources and rural areas. Promote the results of its research and scientific know-how. Participate in the development of scientific and technical research and its integration into the economic and social field. Undertake any research or experimentation or expertise intended for the identification, analysis, selection, adaptation and mastery of technologies in the various fields of rural engineering, water and forests. Undertake documentary research in order to know, follow and analyze the evolution of technologies in fields of interest to the national economy. Contribute to the doctoral training of students within the framework of the institute's programs. Organize scientific events to allow the assimilation and mastery of the technologies selected. Promote partnerships in the field of scientific research and technological development, with higher education and research establishments as well as with public or private establishments and companies or within the framework of international cooperation. Carry out a scientific and technological promotion activity and also participate in that of expertise and monitoring in the service of the economy in the fields of rural engineering, water and water.
