Mission: Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST) is a private university established with the purpose of providing internationally recognised undergraduate and graduate degree programs in science, technology and supporting disciplines. In fulfilling its mission, KCST not only offers state-of-the-art education but also prepares students to be leaders in the use of multidisciplinary approaches to solve complex problems. This means that alongside the rigorous curricula in science and technology, containing significant amounts of hands-on experience and opportunities to take part in high-level research projects, courses in management, entrepreneurship and socially responsible leadership are also incorporated into the curricula in order to ensure a well-rounded exposure to the real-world of practice. In serving as a platform to create and propagate knowledge, to nurture free and open inquiry and advance modern scientific thinking, KCST's mission includes the development of lasting bonds amongst students, faculty and the community.
Vision: KCST's vision is to be among the leading universities of science and technology in the Middle East, through the pursuit of academic excellence guided by human, social and environmental values.
The following data gives a quick reading on the scientific performance in the last years. The research ranking refers to the volume, impact and quality of the institution's research output. The innovation ranking is calculated on the number of patent applications of the institution and the citations that its research output receives from patents. Finally, the societal ranking is based on the number of pages of the institution's website and the number of backlinks and mentions from social networks.
The result of the evaluation of the institution can be compared to obtain a view of the country, the region to which it belongs and the institutions of the world, placing it in their respective positions.
